Valeria Sandei
Valeria Sandei is CEO of Almawave – Almaviva Group, an Italian company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the field of artificial intelligence, natural language analysis, and Big Data services.
She is also President of PerVoice, The Data Appeal Company, SisTer, Almawave do Brasil, and Almawave USA and a Board Member of OBDA Systems (a spin off of Rome’s Sapienza University).
She is Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Musica per Roma, co-author of three US Patents, a TEDx speaker, and one of Forbes’ top 100 Italian Women of 2021.
In June she was presented with the Bellisario Award and a “2023 Golden Apple” for management. In April of this year she received the Excellence Key Award.
Sandei graduated with honors from L. Bocconi University with a degree in Financial Market Economics. She began her career at JP Morgan, then joined Accenture (Strategy Financial Services Area) where she became an executive at the age of 27.
She has been with the Almaviva Group since 2004, where she has held various positions, including Head of Group Strategic Marketing.
In October 2007 she took over leadership of Almawave and turned the company into a constantly evolving international player in the dynamic field of artificial intelligence.
The Almawave Group now has seven companies, more than 400 highly specialized professionals, six R&D technology labs developing proprietary technology, and more than 300 clients operating in 15 countries. Furthermore, the company won this year’s AssoNEXT Best ESG Identity award as the best company in the Euronext Growth Milan segment for its commitment to sustainability, encouraging an ethical, inclusive, and environmentally friendly digital transition.
