Gilberto Dialuce
Gilberto Dialuce, was named President of ENEA in July 2021. As a mining engineer and an expert in Community legislation and regulations on energy, he held high-level institutional positions at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (today the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security) for over 40 years, gaining vast national and international experience. He was Director-General of various Ministry directorates, dealing among others with hydrocarbons, security of energy supply, energy market liberalisation, innovation technology, energy efficiency and renewables.
He also represented Italy in a number of bilateral international cooperation committees, and was head of the Italian delegations at the Energy Councils of the European Union; at the G7 and G20 Ministerial meetings on energy; at the Clean Energy Ministerial global forum; and at the Mission Innovation international initiative.
He was responsible for the organisation of two editions of G7 Energy which were held under the Italian Presidency. Moreover, he was President of the Emergency and Monitoring Committee of the National Gas System, member of the Board of Directors of the GME, Gestore dei Mercati Energetici, and of the Management Board of the Electricity Sector Equalization Fund, and represented the Ministry at the Italian High Council for Public Works.
He has held courses on hydrocarbon fields, research and development in high level vocational institution, such as the SNA, the Italian National School for Public Administration, and for a postgraduate master at Roma Tre University
