Andrea Abodi
Graduated in Business Economics at LUISS University in Rome, he started his manager career (1987-1994) being the Marketing Director for Italy at McCormack Group. From 1990 to 1994 he was also responsible for Italy of TWI, known today as IMG Media, an international leader company in audiovisual content production and marketing.
In 1994 he co-founded Media Partners Group playing the role of Executive Vice president.
From 2002 to 2008 he was board member at CONI Servizi SPA also being President of Astral Spa and Arcea Spa (2003-2006).
In 2009 he led as Executive Vice President and General Director the Organizing Committee of the Baseball World Championship final phase.
He also coordinated, as Marketing Director, all the activities focused at the Olympic and Paralympic bids for the Olympic Games Rome2004 and 2020.
From 2010 to 2017 he held the position of President and federal councilor of Lega Serie B.
On October 16, 2017, by decree of the Italian Government Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Andrea Abodi was appointed as President of Istituto per il Credito Sportivo.
Then on October 23, 2022, by decree of the Italian Government Presidency of the Council of Ministers, he was given the assignment of Minister for Sport and Youth.
