As a “neutral host,” it makes available to all mobile operators in the Italian market the shared, digital, secure and sustainable infrastructure that it builds and manages, with the aim of making the reception of wireless services always optimal.

The 2023-2026 Industrial Plan envisions investments amounting to 900 million euros, primarily directed towards establishing new sites (macro-grid), upgrading existing infrastructure, and significantly expanding indoor micro-coverage with DAS systems. The goal is to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the development of 5G, supporting all telecommunication operators.
With the aim of generating long-term value and contributing to the country’s social and economic growth and improvement, INWIT has embarked on a path of sustainability by approving the Sustainability Plan in November 2020 and publishing its Integrated Report annually. In this perspective, INWIT has adhered to the principles of the Global Compact promoted by the United Nations on human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. The company is committed to integrating these ten principles into its strategy, culture, and daily operations.
