Chief Executive Officer and Director General of the Italian National Printing Bureau and Mint, Francesco Soro is the Former General Director of Electronic, Television, Radio communications and Postal services (DGSCERP) at the Ministry of Entriprises and Made in Italy.

Barrister of the Italian Supreme Court, he has been involved in public policy for innovation, serving different roles, including Innovation Advisor to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – D.A.R., Board Member of AGES, President of the ICT Consortium of the Region Lazio, President of Corecom Lazio and of Corecom National Network.

He has also held different positions at Coni and within the sports system and he is currently a Board Member and Member of the Assembly of participants of the National Test Bank for portable firearms and commercial ammunition.
